Ruslan Gasratov

Ruslan Gasratov is an outstanding pianist and music educator whose musical journey began at the age of twelve when he was admitted to the prestigious Music High School for the Particularly Gifted in the class of Professor A. Kardashev. His exceptional skills and dedication led him to the Odessa Music Academy where he completed both his Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Pedagogy and Performance in the piano major.
Thanks to a DAAD scholarship, Ruslan Gasratov was able to study under Professor S. Speidel at the Karlsruhe University of Music from 2010 to 2012 and expand his artistic education on an international level. Since successfully completing his studies, he has performed regularly in concerts throughout Europe and has worked with German and Ukrainian symphony orchestras under the direction of Ure Ungerer and Grigori Moseiko, among others. As a soloist, he is a welcome guest with philharmonic symphony orchestras in Tiraspol and with the Odessa Chamber Orchestra under the direction of I. Schavruk. He is also a soloist with the Odessa Virtuoso Orchestra.
In addition to his concert activities, Ruslan Gasratov is pursuing an academic career. Since 2023, he has been studying for a doctorate at the Odessa Music Academy, after successfully completing his assistantship in the specialist internship in 2022/2023. His pedagogical career began in 2012, when he worked as a private teacher in the Odessa area and taught at several music schools and at the Odessa Music Academy. He also gained valuable experience as a répétiteur at the Odessa Opera and Ballet Theater.
Since 2023, Ruslan Gasratov has been teaching private students in the Basel area and from 2024 he will be working as a piano teacher at the Swiss Music School in Zug. With his extensive experience as a musician and educator, he enriches not only cultural life but also the next generation of pianists.
